Long Walks
Every Sunday throughout the year, 8 to 18 mile day walks at a faster pace in more rugged terrain's. Walks are graded in distance and vigour to provide a guide to the difficulty of the walk.

Meet at the Civic Center Lower Car Park to depart at 9:30 a.m. (no parking charge).
Fitness
Grades are provided as a general guide only: if you have any doubt about your fitness or a particular walk please contact the organiser or leader in advance. You should also bear in mind the distance of the walk, regional differences in terrain and the possibility of bad weather, which can make a walk more difficult than planned. If you're unsure of your fitness level, try a short and easy walk first: it's much better to find a walk a little too slow and easy than to make yourself miserable and exhausted. Leaders may refuse to accept participants who in their opinion are inadequately equipped or unfit.
Leisure Walks
Every other Sunday throughout the year, a seven mile (approximately), day walk, at a more leisurely pace with ample stops to enjoy the view, a coffee or a chat.

Meet at the Civic Center Lower car Park to depart at 9:30 a.m. (no parking charge).
Evening Walks
About 4 miles in length on summer Wednesday evenings. Ideal grade of walk for people new to walking or to wind down after a tough day.

Meet at the Civic Center Lower car Park, to depart at 7:00 p.m. ( no parking charge).
